First and foremost you must know that I LOVE GOD! I have been on both sides of the fence and I can tell you from experience, the grass is not greener on the other side! Praise God I found that out sooner than later!
My name is Tracy Brown and I have been very happily married now for almost 12 years to my wonderful 
husband Kevin. Life has been filled with ups and downs but God has always been right there by our sides. He has never failed to provide for our every situation and God has never, nor will He ever, fail us. We have learned so much over the years and have grown so much together. If it had not been for God bringing Kevin into my life I wouldn’t be where I am right now! I was a broken down little girl and now I am a woman after God’s own heart. There was a time in my life when I didn’t know God and I didn’t want to know Him. A time when all I wanted was my cigarettes and beer and I sure didn’t want anyone telling me I couldn’t have them. Then Kevin began to plant seeds and now I can’t imagine life without God or my husband! I will blog the full story very soon so be on the lookout…
My husband Kevin and I have a beautiful daughter named Elizabeth who is just about to turn 11!!!! I can’t believe she is that old! It just seems like yesterday that I held her
in my arms! She was 21 1/4 inches long and 8lbs. 2oz. when she was born. I can’t begin to fathom the love God has for us because what I felt for her that day is indescribable! She is the joy of our lives and she is the apple of my eye! If you have kids boy do you ever know what I mean and if you don’t have kids of your own but are the proud aunt/uncle of some, then you too understand! Children are the fruit of life! Most times they are sweet like strawberries, but on occasion can come across as a lemon but we love them no matter what! Unconditional love, much like God loves us. I know there’s not a thing I wouldn’t do for my child. God is the same way with us, there is nothing that God won’t do for us that lines up with His word and falls into His will for our lives!
So now a little about me! I am 32 years old and I have a full time job. I am a back-up fill in Praise and Worship
leader at my church. I say back-up fill in because Philip is the leader and believe you me, I wouldn’t want his job!!!!!! I am way too much of a pushover and a people pleaser, and sometimes you can’t be that way. I love to play the piano and I LOVE TO SING TO THE LORD! And I will shout it from the rooftops! I LOVE GOD! He is so awesome and I am beside myself at how great He is! I can truly say that I can’t imagine life without Him! I wouldn’t want to! That’s scary. You can’t imagine where He has brought me from! I was HORRIBLE! I was wretched! I was lost and full of sin and He delivered me from all that junk. Now don’t get me wrong, I have my days, I mean every day is a day for me LOL! I am human! You don’t have to be perfect and I think that is a big misconception in the church today. People don’t go to church because they think they can’t measure up! What a lie of the devil! Guys, one thing is for certain, nothing we could do could ever make us good enough, that’s what grace is for! God’s grace is so awesome! He loves us in spite of ourselves! In spite of what we have done and where we have come from He still loves us! We are going to make mistakes! It’s gonna happen! Even Paul struggled with his own flesh in Romans 7:15-19. There is only one that is perfect and free from sin and that is Jesus! So don’t beat yourself up! Just turn your eyes towards Jesus and let Him lead the way.
I truly hope that these blogs will be a blessing to you all. I hope that the songs God has given me to share here will be a blessing to you all as they have been to me. May God keep you and bless you far beyond anything you can begin to imagine! May He meet your needs in every area of your life! May He use you to be a blessing to others and may we all be willing vessels for the Lord!
